Nerds On The Run

Our very own website designer starts with UFIT and in victorious personal Finish:

"As a computer professional, I have a very sedentary lifestyle; it’s the nature of the job. As such, in the past few years I had packed on the pounds and gotten extremely out of shape. I feared that I was cutting my life short and with a new baby girl on the way, I knew I needed to do something drastic. I turned to UFIT Personal Training and Fitness to help me out. I worked with UFIT for three months on strength, endurance, and nutrition. The structured system that UFIT helped me live by was a life saver. In that time I was able to drop over 30 pounds based on the workouts and knowledge they provided.

After my time with UFIT was done, I knew I’d need some goals to keep myself on track and to keep my weight down. I settled on doing triathlons. Using the techniques I learned from UFIT’s friendly staff, I was able to successfully train for and complete three triathlons this season. I have two more races scheduled for this year and, with more training, my times should keep improving.

Before UFIT, I couldn’t run a half mile. Now I can compete in endurance events as a means to a healthier lifestyle."

Way to go, J! You inspire us!

Taking Back Control

Mark P. says:

"At age 47 I finally decided I needed to get a few things in my life under control. I knew for sure I did not want to end up with adult on-set diabetes or heart disease - both genetic traits in my family. To get down to my optimal body weight, I needed to lose 45 pounds and increase my muscle tone. I contacted UFIT to help me achieve these goals. The results have been fabulous. Through the two times a week Body Basics Class at UFIT and along with some cardiovascular exercise on my own and sticking to the calorie intake determined by the metabolic test- I have lost 24 pounds in six weeks and toned up considerably! The trainers at UFIT are awesome and inspiring. You feel better about yourself each time you go. They are serious about helping people reach their goals!"

Cruisin’ To Fitness

Leah G., a 36 year old wife and mom of 3 kids, was already committed to an exercise program 5 times a week. With a cruise vacation 6 weeks away she needed direction with her food and exercise program to lower her body fat. Leah says,

“I needed to intensify my workout! The biggest help was my exercise form. I was getting all my exercises wrong. I can now take that info to the gym and workout correctly and more efficiently. My husband was WOWED by my muscle tone when I put my bathing suit on during the cruise. I reached my goal of 17% body fat and with my new found love of spinning and knowledge of nutrition, I can maintain my current condition. I will absolutely refer all my friends to UFIT!”

It Pays To Exercise!

Cragun C., 19 years old and 335 pounds, needed guidance, motivation and accountability for his goal of losing 100 pounds. A healthier, more knowledgeable, and 43 pounds lighter Cragun says:

"I didn’t want to go to a regular gym because I felt uncomfortable around the seemingly already superfit guys that are there and I didn’t want people staring at me. I appreciate the privacy that I have at UFIT. The nutritional help has been great! I eat better and know what my limits are because of the metabolic testing. The support of the trainers has kept me motivated and on track of my goals."
